Managing Director, Seven-up Bottling Company, Mr. Sunil Sawhney has revealed why his company threw their weight behind two major youth events in Lagos during the Yuletide.

Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged 2015 was heralded with much hype with the expected performances of popular American singer, Trey Songz and other Nigerian superstar artistes. Thousands of music lovers who thronged the event centre of Eko Hotels Lagos last Friday night were not disappointed as the music acts gave good accounts of themselves.
Trey Songz, who is also a rapper, songwriter and movie actor, thrilled fans with memorizing stagecraft as he performed a medley of 17 songs from different albums.
The Grammy Award winner later performed alongside Davido to the acclaim of the electrified audience. The fans were further thrilled when Trey Songz announced he would be doing a collabo with Davido, an announcement he revealed earlier at the press conference.
Other big names that performed were Pepsi music ambassador, Wizkid, who got the audience singing along to some of his songs, evergreen group ‘Remedies’, rap talent, Olamide ‘Badoo’, MI, Runtown and Lil Kesh all gave the audience their money’sworth.
Mavin Record crew members: Reekado Banks, Korede Bello added more spice to the excitement and new act, Candy, winner of the Trey Songz instagram competition also got her chance to perform with the big players at the Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged.
Comperes at the event were ace comedians: Basket mouth, Bovi and I Go Die who introduced each act with humorous jokes. Other comedians that cracked ribs on the night were Okey Bakassi, Odogwu, Ajele, Baba K, Kim Josh and Buchi.
