The management of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) will on Monday begin activities to mark the fifth anniversary of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), Ikeja, Lagos.
This was disclosed in a statement by Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operators of MMA2, Steve Omolale-Ajulo, on Thursday.
According to the statement, the company is celebrating the revolution it brought to flight operations in Nigeria in the last five years with the state-of-the-art terminal.
MMA2 began operations in May 2007 and Bi-Courtney says it is the first successful Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the country. The statement added that MMA2’s pioneering initiative has become the bench-mark for other airports in the country.
The anniversary will be flagged off with a “Fly and Win” promo on Monday, which will last for the one month duration of the celebration. Prizes to be won in the promo include the star prize of a brand new Toyota Avensis car; two plasma television sets; business and economy return tickets to Abuja and Ghana; dinner for a family of four at Sheraton Hotel and Towers; wrist watches and other consolation prizes.
Other activities during the month-long event will include product exhibition, inauguration of the Cargo Shed and appreciation of the customers and passengers using the terminal.
The statement further says that Bicourtney as a health-conscious company will also have a Sports Day for all its staff members on June 23, 2012 and the final draw of the “Fly and Win” promo on June 28.
